Once again, Advent became a shared experience at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Szeged when, during the last three weeks of term-time, students, lecturers and workers of the faculty came together four times to sing well-known Christmas carols.
It was a series of events that provided a great opportunity for students and lecturers alike to meet outside lectures, practice and exams, and for workers of the six institutes and the Dean's Office to talk - really talk, not just pass each other in the stairway with a polite greeting. Furthermore, it gave them a chance to talk about something that is not work-related. To the organisers’ delight, several people gathered each time so our beloved Hungarian Christmas carols filled the faculty building. The last event was even more special thanks to two of our pharmacy students, András Érszegi and Bence Soós who played the trumpet amazingly.
Special thanks to Kornél Szemerédi who provided great help with the technical part of the events. We would also like to thank the Dóm Pharmacy from Szeged for supporting our cause again with a traditional Hungarian candy, szaloncukor for every participant.
