To demonstrate the individual pharmacotherapeutical problems at the patient- bed learning more about the diseases in the real clinical situation.
Planned schedule (may be changed according to the patients seen at the clinics)
Surgery
Medication of surgical interventions: prae- & postmedication of the operations (anaesthetics, analgesics, )
Thromboembolic prophylaxis at the surgical interventions, systemic antibiotic prophylaxis (SAP) of the surgical interventions
Neurology and Psychiatric Clinic
Stroke, sclerosis multiplex: Pathology & therapy
Psychiatric disorders: depression (bipolar disorder) and schizophrenia
Dermatology
Psoriasis
Diabetic foot ulcer, erysipelas
Pediatrics
Neonatal Intensive Care: clinical and therapeutic problems
ALL in childhood
Internal medicine:
Crohn disease, colitis ulcerosa
Clinical nutrition: enteral and parenteral nutrition
Requirements:
Each week a case report should be completed on patients seen at the clinics. A copy of the case reports should be handed in at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy.
There is a final examination during the exam period.
